How did you meet?
I was working at KFC to pay the bills whilst studying at uni. Pedro was a customer that I had served and wanted to ask for my number but was too shy! He then found me on social media and the rest is history.

How did he propose?
The proposal was a complete surprise! Pedro was working in social media at the time and had told me we were going away for the weekend for work. We arrived at the airport and he then told me we would be flying to Tokyo Disneyland, as he has to do some work there, and we will spend the rest of the day together there.
I have dreamt of going to Disneyland since I was a little girl- it really is the most magical place!
When we arrived at Tokyo Disneyland- Pedro wanted to take some photos together in front of the Disney castle before he went off and did some ‘work’. I still believed we were at Disneyland for Pedro to be doing work!
As we were taking photos together- he got down on one knee and proposed! I was completely shocked and so emotional.
We spent the whole day in Disneyland Tokyo and then flew back home that night. It was a crazy adventure and like something out of a movie!
Describe the planning and process of your wedding?
Majority of our wedding planning happened during COVID, which was extremely stressful at times. We ended up having to postpone our original wedding date due to numerous restrictions/lockdowns. Our suppliers were extremely positive about everything and we are so grateful for them. We had the most perfect, magical wedding day on the 23rd of April, 2021!
Describe the journey of finding your dream dress and your experience in The Sposa Group store.
I am not a traditional bride, I knew from the very beginning that I wanted a one-of-a-kind, sexy but classy wedding dress. Before my visit to The Sposa Group, I was very worried that I was never going to find exactly what I wanted. However, that feeling disappeared when I first walked into The Sposa Group. I was made to feel super comfortable and nothing was too big of an ask. I fell in love with a dress and then used their custom change services to create exactly what I wanted. The end result was just a dream come true!
What made you fall in love with your wedding dress?
The detail of the dress, and the ability to custom change and work with the team at The Sposa Group to create the perfect amount of sexy and classy in my wedding gown.
What advice would you give to future brides?
Trust in your suppliers, enjoy the planning process and accept that not everything may go to plan but that’s all part of the journey!
How did you feel wearing your wedding dress?
I don’t think I can put into words the feeling. It is something I have never felt before!
I felt beautiful, sexy and just so happy to be wearing the most magical dress to marry the man of my dreams!
Describe your wedding
Pedro and I did not want a traditional wedding, we really just wanted a big party with our nearest and dearest. Our wedding day was just that, a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by one big party afterwards. We had several entertainment throughout the day and the dancefloor was full the entire night. We felt so much love by all our guests and have so many beautiful memories of that day that will last a lifetime.
